You can book securely through our website. Select your preferred accommodation and dates, then follow the steps to complete your reservation. If you would like to talk things through first, you are welcome to contact us. Continental breakfast on the Coffee Deck can also be booked in advance.

Our booking terms set out how cancellations and amendments are handled. If your plans change, please contact us as soon as possible and we’ll advise what can be done in line with the terms attached to your booking.

Yes — we’re around 20 minutes from Sidmouth and the Jurassic Coast, and well placed for exploring Ottery St Mary, Honiton, Seaton, and East Devon’s beautiful walking routes. We also recommend nearby pubs, farm shops, and local events.

Dogs are not allowed in the bell tents, as we keep them allergy-safe for all guests. In the shepherd’s hut, Pippin, dogs may be accepted by prior arrangement only, so please contact us before booking. Dogs are welcome on camping pitches, provided they are kept on a lead at all times.

Bowhayes Farm is a quiet, adult-focused site, best suited to couples, solo travellers, and peaceful getaways. While we are largely adults only, we do welcome children aged 13 and over who are respectful of the tranquil atmosphere*. We don’t currently offer facilities for young children or family groups. *Quiet time 21:00 – 07:00

Our camping pitches are designed for small bookings only. We accept a maximum of three guests per pitch, which helps us maintain the space, privacy and quiet atmosphere of the site.

You have access to shared facilities across the site. These include The Outback Shower, The Water Station for drinking water and washing up, and the Downstairs Toilet & Kitchen in the farmhouse courtyard. Glamping guests also use The Horsebox Shower & Toilet and The Field Kitchen, which provides gas hobs, a kettle, cookware and seating.

Wi-Fi is available at the onsite Coffee Shop, but not in the bell tents or shepherd’s hut. Most major UK networks have good 4G/5G mobile signal across the site. If you prefer a quieter stay, you can leave the connection, embrace a digital detox and enjoy the space around you.

Yes — each pitch or bell tent comes with its own firepit, and you’re welcome to use BBQs as long as they’re raised off the ground. We have logs available to purchase on-site and ask that all fires are kept within the designated areas. Extras available on-site include: logs, firepits, our cider and locally sourced venison burgers.

To make the most of your stay, we recommend bringing: • Towels (bath and hand) • Torch or headlamp (for walking safely at night) • Walking shoes or boots for exploring the countryside • Weather-appropriate clothing — waterproofs, warm layers, sun protection depending on the season • Personal toiletries and any specialty items you prefer We provide bedding and essentials in the shepherd’s hut and bell tents to keep packing easy.

Yes. Parking is available for staying guests, and we’ll direct you to the appropriate parking area on arrival. If you’re arriving with more than one vehicle or have specific access needs, please let us know when you book.

Bowhayes Farm is a peaceful, adults-only (13 years old plus) glamping and camping site set on our cider apple orchard and specialist tree nursery in East Devon. We offer fully furnished bell tents — Michelin, Dabinett, and Bramley — plus a charming shepherd’s hut named Pippin. Whether you're looking for a romantic retreat, a digital detox, or a midweek breather, Bowhayes is the perfect rural hideaway.

Absolutely. Our quiet orchard setting, crackling firepits, and cosy accommodation make Bowhayes Farm an ideal place to unwind and reconnect. Many guests come for anniversaries, birthdays, or simply to enjoy the slower pace of rural life.

You can choose from three spacious 5m bell tents — Michelin, Dabinett and Bramley — or our shepherd’s hut, Pippin. The bell tents are furnished with a king-sized bed, rugs, solar lighting, a firepit and outdoor seating. Pippin is available year-round and includes a double bed, wood-burning stove and tea and coffee facilities. All glamping guests share access to the site’s shared facilities.

Yes! Pippin is fully insulated and has a wood-burning stove, making it a warm and cosy choice for autumn or winter stays. With countryside views and fewer guests around, it’s perfect for a peaceful off-season escape.

We do. If you're travelling through East Devon for work, the shepherd’s hut offers a peaceful alternative to a hotel. There’s 4G / 5G signal, parking, a small worktop space, and basic cooking kit — all within easy reach of Exeter, Honiton, and the A30.

Yes. You can enquire about whole-site hire for small weddings, retreats and similar gatherings. As Bowhayes Farm is a working orchard with a limited number of stays, we review each request individually so we can consider your dates, numbers and requirements in advance.
