• Bell tents: Sorry, no dogs allowed in Michelin, Dabinett, or Bramley, to ensure the tents stay allergy-safe for all guests.
• Shepherd’s hut (Pippin): Dogs may be accepted by prior arrangement only — please contact us before booking to check.
• Camping pitches: Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. Let us know when booking.

Bowhayes Farm is a quiet, adult-focused site, best suited to couples, solo travellers, and peaceful getaways.
While we are largely adults only, we do welcome children aged 13 and over who are respectful of the tranquil atmosphere*. We don’t currently offer facilities for young children or family groups.

All glampers and campers have access to: • The Outback Shower (hot, semi-open-roofed, and wildly refreshing!) • The Water Station for drinking water and washing up • The Downstairs Toilet & Kitchen (inside the farmhouse courtyard)
The glampers also have access to: • The Horsebox Shower & Toilet (converted horse trailer with flushing loo and hot shower) • Our Field Kitchen — a rustic undercover space with gas hobs, kettle, cookware, and seating
Facilities are shared across the site and cleaned regularly to a high standard.

Yes — each pitch or bell tent comes with its own firepit, and you’re welcome to use BBQs as long as they’re raised off the ground. We have logs available to purchase on-site and ask that all fires are kept within the designated areas.
Extras available on-site include: logs, firepits, our cider and locally sourced venison burgers.

To make the most of your stay, we recommend bringing: • Towels (bath and hand) • Torch or headlamp (for walking safely at night) • Walking shoes or boots for exploring the countryside • Weather-appropriate clothing — waterproofs, warm layers, sun protection depending on the season • Personal toiletries and any specialty items you prefer
We provide bedding and essentials in the shepherd’s hut and bell tents to keep packing easy.

Bowhayes Farm is a peaceful, adults-only* glamping and camping site set on our cider apple orchard and specialist tree nursery in East Devon. We offer fully furnished bell tents — Michelin, Dabinett, and Bramley — plus a charming shepherd’s hut named Pippin. Whether you're looking for a romantic retreat, a digital detox, or a midweek breather, Bowhayes is the perfect rural hideaway.

We have three spacious (5m diameter) bell tents: Michelin, Dabinett, and Bramley. Each is furnished with a king-sized bed, rugs, solar lighting, firepit, and outdoor seating — everything you need for a relaxed and comfortable stay under canvas.
Our shepherd’s hut, Pippin, is available year-round and offers a warm, rustic retreat with a double bed, wood-burning stove, tea and coffee facilities (Nespresso machine), and countryside charm. All glamping guests share access to well-maintained facilities* (in addition to those provided for campers). • Free parking is available onsite. • Walk to your accommodation — wheelbarrows are provided to help with luggage.
