Appropriate Time For Grass Seed Planting
Many people tend to get confused as to when to plant grass seeds. The truth is that you should plant them either during the spring, or during the fall – as these are the most appropriate times. Too soon or too late can affect the growth of the grass, and therefore the overall look of your lawn. If you want to plant the grass seeds in spring, then you shouldn’t apply any weed control products to the grass. Until the grass seed has germinated and the grass has been mowed at least thrice, delay the weed control application. But if you are planting the seeds in fall, follow the same rule for weed control, and allow the seeds to germinate properly before the freezing temperatures come into effect where you stay. A little bit of thought and care about the right time of planting can go a long way in making sure you have a good quality lawn.
